I once found a book at a town dump give and take area published in the 60s or early 70s about mining in some specific region (PA?). Skimmed it, and decided I didn't want it. Went online and sold it for something in the high 200s

Two of my most memorable sales came in October of 2007. I was selling some consignment items for a customer who always gave me unique items.
He happened to give me 2 Vintage Hermes Beach Towels in excellent condition. When I listed them I thought maybe $40-$50.00 each since they weren't brand new. I was amazed when the first sold for $407.00 and the second one for $530.00
That's why I love eBay.
